Our Father, Saviour and Shiva

It is God alone who is intimate with His saints and His saints alone who are intimate with Him. Though lakhs know of Guruji or are in a relationship of devotion with Him, we still know too little about Guruji, the person.

Guruji was the light divine born on 7th July 1952 in Dugri village of Malerkotla tehsil in Punjab, a region sanctified by the Sikh gurus of yore. He was and is Lord Shiva, depicted with snakes garlanded around His blue-throated neck.

His childhood was marked by extraordinary spiritual inclination. While his family wished him to study, he would often be found at the nearby dera (settlement) of Sant Sewa Dasji. The sages there recognized his divine nature, warning people to leave him alone, telling them that he was the "lord of all the three lokas."

Guruji obtained two Master's degrees in English and Economics to fulfill his father's wishes, yet his true calling was spiritual service. He left home to embark on his divine mission, appearing mysteriously in the homes of acquaintances, staying briefly before moving on to continue his spiritual journey.

His Eternal Legacy

Guruji left His form, beloved of devotees and smelling always of roses, on 31st May 2007. It was in a way a lesson—a final teaching on the evanescence of life. With the manner of His passing, He impressed upon our psyche the eternal truth that all worldly forms are temporary.

Yet His presence remains alive in the hearts of his devotees, in the sacred spaces he sanctified, and in the lives transformed by his divine grace. His teachings continue to guide seekers toward truth, love, and self-realization.
